Built in the 15th century, takes its name from the gilding, now defunct, that added glitz to the openwork of marble cladding. At the bottom opens a portico, according the ancient Venetian use of fondaco houses. The two loggias with balconies to Oriental arches and pillars, and the original crenellation make it a masterpiece of Venetian Gothic style.
