From 28 May to 27 November at the Giardini and Arsenale


Open to the public from Saturday 28 May to Sunday November 27, 2016, at the Giardini and Arsenale, 15. International architecture exhibition entitled REPORTING FROM THE FRONT, directed by Alejandro Aravena and organized by La Biennale di Venezia presided by Paolo Baratta.


The exhibition will be accompanied by 64 national participations in the historic pavilions in the Giardini, Arsenale and in the historic centre of Venice. Are 5 countries present for the first time: the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Seychelles and Yemen.

The Italy Pavilion at the Tese delle Vergini in the Arsenale, supported and promoted by the Ministry of cultural heritage and tourism, General Directorate of contemporary art and architecture and urban suburbs, was entrusted to the curatorial team TAMassociati: Chris Lam, Raul Pacheco, Simone Sahu.

The View REPORTING FROM THE FRONT will form a single exhibition from Central Pavilion (garden) at the arsenal, including 88 participants from 37 countries. Of these 50 are present for the first time, and 33 are the architects under 40. In addition to national participations alongside side events spread throughout the city
